SWA (Super Wide Angle) 70°

The illuminated 1.25” 20mm reticle eyepiece with a 70°apparent field of view, is designed for refining the alignment and pointing accuracy of your goto telescope, helping to find your target star easily and do very precise centering of the alignment stars. And reticle eyepiece is essential for precise polar alignment when doing long exposure astrophotography.

Ensuring High Transmittance

The five-element optical system is fully multi-coated on all air-to-glass surfaces with high transmission anti-reflection coatings, allowing greater optical through-put across the entire visible light spectrum, for bright, crisp views. The edges and the inner wall of the lenses are blackened for high contrast.

Illumination Adjustable

The crosshair illumination is variable over a very wide range, and gets quite dim at the lower end, so that dimmer stars may be seen. They are also bright enough to use in daylight at the upper end of the range. The crosshairs are narrow and well defined, which helps with precision.
The eyepiece is powered by 2 cell batteries and they are easy to get in the local store when running out.

The interface is standard 1.25-inch so that it is available to attach to standard 1.25-inch guiding scope.
The M28.5*0.6 threads are for standard 1.25-inch filter.
